About Cedar House Life Change Center
Cedar House Life Change Center is in a semi-suburban corner of Bloomington, California. It’s not too far from Kessler Park and shopping malls if being outdoors helps you relax after a hard day. They offer residential and outpatient treatment for substance use disorders. They offer care in English and Spanish.
The facility accepts Medi-Cal and most major private health insurances. A sliding fee scale is available based on income and family size.
Detoxification and Residential Treatment
If you need medical assistance for withdrawals, detox is offered and lasts 7-21 days. You will be closely monitored with step down medications to reduce your withdrawal symptoms.
Residential treatment is available for substance dependency and co-occurring disorders. You will attend group counseling and family group counseling. Support groups specific to your needs are offered, such as LBGTQ, anger management, relapse prevention, and others.
Outpatient services use the matrix model and medication assisted treatment. Day groups meet Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in the mid-mornings. Evening groups meet Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
Alumni Association for Support in Recovery
After you complete your treatment, enroll in the Alumni Association. Clients meet with their peers to share stories and support each other. You can connect with the association online for support, questions, encouragement, and to share updates. Community events, fundraisers, and galas take place year round.
Maple House Residential for Mothers
Mothers with children can be referred to the Maple House for residential treatment. Your kids will have their own beds to sleep in. Treatment will address substance use and parenting. You’ll attend parenting and life skills training and counseling while your children are cared for.
Sanctuary Sober House for Men
For men who’ve completed treatment, they might be referred to the Sanctuary House Sober Living. Some clients still need a structured environment after residential treatment and will suffer through relapses because of being unsupported or feeling isolated. You can live with other men who are sharing the same experiences.
