About Hillside Horizon
Hillside Horizon is a Joint Commission accredited, California licensed residential treatment center in Canyon Lake, California, serving adolescents ages 12 to 17. This boutique, family-owned program provides residential care for teens facing mental health and behavioral challenges alongside any co-occurring substance use.
A Small, Home-Like Program in a Lakeside Setting
Hillside Horizon keeps its census intentionally small, with gender-specific homes in a lakeside setting that includes mountain views and outdoor activities. The environment is designed to feel like a home rather than a clinic, so teens in Canyon Lake and across the region can focus on stabilization and skill-building.
Blending Clinical and Experiential Therapy
Care combines evidence-based clinical work with experiential and holistic therapy, including art, music, yoga, and adventure activities. Treatment plans are individualized for each teen and involve the family in the process.
