About The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center
The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center is a free substance use and homeless recovery provider in Dallas, Texas serving adults age 18 and older who are experiencing homelessness.
Operating 24hours in downtown Dallas the campus combines day and night shelter with behavioral health and substance use treatment as well as care management and housing support.
What recovery and treatment services are offered?
The Bridge provides day shelter from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM and night shelter from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM along with on-campus partner clinics offering substance use assessment and treatment, chemical dependency care and mental health services, and dual diagnosis support.
Intensive care management, peer support, and recovery oriented counseling help guests build long term stability.
Who can get help at The Bridge?
The Bridge welcomes adults 18 and older experiencing homelessness in Dallas County. Specialized support is available for veterans through an on-site VA case worker and guests facing tickets, warrants, or child support issues can work with care managers on resolution planning.
How much does it cost and what about insurance?
All services at The Bridge are free and no ID is required to begin intake or triage. The program is designed as a low barrier resource, removing financial and documentation obstacles to recovery and shelter.
