About TLC Transitional Living Communities
TLC Transitional Living Communities is a Mesa, Arizona recovery organization offering peer-run sober living and addiction treatment support for adults.
The program blends structured transitional housing with 12-step participation, relapse prevention classes, peer counseling and outpatient-level services for individuals working toward lasting sobriety.
With a grounded, "Addicts Helping Addicts" philosophy, TLC welcomes anyone ready to commit to recovery regardless of financial means.
Peer-Led Sober Living
TLC offers transitional sober living built around lived experience and peer accountability.
The program uses a tiered house system with entry, level one and level two expectations tied to employment, sponsorship, curfews and meeting attendance.
Residents participate in required 12-step meetings, a 12-week Big Book study, 90 meetings in 90 days, weekly in-house peer counseling and routine drug screening.
Outpatient Support and Recovery Services
Beyond housing, TLC is associated with outpatient and intensive outpatient services, partial hospitalization and outpatient detox support.
Clinical approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-related counseling, anger management and relapse prevention, alongside case management, employment guidance, and family counseling.
TLC includes a dedicated women's housing and a Pride House for LGBTQ residents, with telehealth therapy also available.
