Mountain Valley Counseling provides a structured outpatient program that includes peer mentoring, individual and group counseling, psychoeducation, and recovery meetings. Like an inpatient program, patients in the outpatient program will access recovery treatment but be able to return home each day.
The medication assisted treatment (MAT) program is a highly effective and evidence based treatment, endorsed by the National Institute on Drug Abuse as the gold standard treatment for opioid addiction. MAT involves the use of certain medications, like methadone or Suboxone, in combination with behavioral counseling. Like other programs, the MAT service includes recovery groups, therapy, and ongoing support until the patient has stabilized.
