Open Hearts Family Wellness in Tempe is an Arizona nonprofit behavioral health provider offering outpatient mental health and substance use care for children, youth, adults and families.
The Tempe office provides individual therapy, psychoeducation groups and psychiatric services, medication management and case management, family therapy and behavior coaching for co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.

Outpatient Treatment and Follow Up Care
Open Hearts delivers comprehensive outpatient treatment for individuals managing substance use, mental health concerns or both.
Services include intensive outpatient and standard outpatient programming with psychiatric evaluation, prescriptions and ongoing medication management available on site.
Sessions draw on evidence based practices and emphasize relapse prevention, life skills development and family dynamics work.

Adolescent Substance Use Support
A standout offering at Open Hearts is the outpatient substance use education program for adolescents ages 13 to 17 with a current substance use diagnosis.
The track combines education, relapse prevention and family involvement to help teens and their loved ones navigate recovery together. It is one of the organization's signature programs for youth and families across Arizona.

The Tempe outpatient office at 3280 S Country Club Way is open Monday through Friday for in person care, serving families throughout Arizona alongside the organization's Phoenix location.
Open Hearts accepts a wide range of insurance plans including AHCCCS partners such as Mercy Care and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, Arizona Complete Health and Molina Healthcare, with sliding scale fees and grant funded care available so no one is denied for inability to pay.
