Alcoholism and Addiction Assistance Association Hope House

Hope House, operated by the Alcoholism & Addiction Assistance Association (5A) is a men's sober living residence in Phoenix, Arizona.

This transitional housing program supports men newly in recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction who are ready to commit to lasting sobriety.

As the original 5A residence Hope House offers a less-restrictive, community-based environment designed to bridge the gap between inpatient treatment and returning home.

Transitional Sober Living for Men

Hope House provides clean, safe transitional housing for up to 32 men working toward recovery.

Operated by a longstanding nonprofit, the residence is ideal for those who have completed inpatient treatment and need a supportive next step before re-entry into home life.

Residents live in a comfortable Phoenix neighborhood home with daily meals provided and the freedom to come and go during the day.

With access to local work opportunities, restaurants and transit, the program helps men rebuild stability and independence at their own pace.

12-Step Recovery and Community Support

Recovery at Hope House is rooted in the 12-step model with 5A offering more than 50 on-site meetings weekly across its program.

The residence also provides transportation to off-site meetings, helping residents stay connected to the broader recovery community and build lasting accountability.
