Texas Health Addiction Recovery Center

The Addiction Recovery Center by Texas Health in Mansfield, Texas is a faith based nonprofit substance use disorder treatment center. The center offers an environment similar to a hotel with chef prepared meals.

They are CARF accredited and certified at the 3.5 ASAM Level of Care. They accept TriCare, United Health Care, and select other insurance coverages.

Spiritual Healing through Forgiveness

Your treatment team will seek to promote spiritual healing as well as emotional and mental healing. The key concept, forgiveness, is working to forgive yourself as an addict and working to forgive others who may have contributed to your mental and addiction issues.

It can be difficult for us to let go of resentment toward those who have wronged us. Forgiveness will help reduce your depression and anxiety, allow you to sleep better, relieve you from stress and cycles of mental anguish over past events.

You will also have compassion for yourself and be more capable of regulating your emotions. Treatment techniques include journaling, daily reminders of your self worth, making amends with those who have wronged you or you have wronged, and changing negative self talk to thoughts about your recovery and progress.

Medically Assisted Detox

Medically assisted detoxification is available here for those who need it. Clients are closely monitored by nurses and physicians to ensure the medications prescribed are sustainable for reduction of withdrawal symptoms.

Identified Gender Specific Rehab Programs

Women’s residential and men’s residential programs are available. The center provides identified gender accommodations. Outpatient treatment programs include partial hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient programs.

Holistic and Fitness Baed Therapies

Yoga instruction and access to a personal trainer allows clients access to physical and relaxation therapies. Each client has an individual fitness regimen.

The center uses the 12 step recovery principles. Families are integrated into client treatment through counseling and collaboration in their loved one’s treatment plan.
