About CareMar Recovery Center

The CareMar Recovery Center in Newport Beach, California, is located in the Hoag Hospital facility. They are licensed and certified by the state department of health.

Insurances accepted include Medicare, Medi-Cal, Cigna Behavioral, HMC, MHN and Aetna. If you are uninsured or underinsured, you may qualify for alternative pricing and payment plans.

Residential and Detox Programs

Supervised medical detoxification is available if you need a safe withdrawal process. The length of time in detox is determined by the length and amount of your substance use. Residential treatment follows detox.

Outpatient Substance Use Programs

Outpatient programs include their partial hospitalization program which meets Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Their intensive outpatient program meets three days per week from 8:30 am to noon.

You may be in the dual diagnosis program if you have co-occurring mental health disorders. Other programs are specialized for working professionals, young adults, chronic pain clients, women and clients with trauma. They also offer a program with extensive family support.

Treatment includes meditation, yoga and offsite community outings. Groups and events are gender specific.

Residential Aftercare Options

After treatment you may need to enter a residential program. If your home environment is not substance free, you have used substances long-term, or you have a dual diagnosis, a sober residence is best after treatment.

The residence will still offer medical and nursing care along with continued substance use, emotional, social and spiritual treatments. Treatments include yoga, mind and body awareness, art therapy and equine therapy. You will attend 12 Step meetings and have group discussions with other residents.
