The program also provides opioid detox and long-term outpatient detox services tailored to individual needs.
Treatment combines daily or long-acting medication with counseling, using specific approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, contingency management and relapse prevention.
Clients receive medical monitoring, case management and advocacy to address the root drivers of opioid use and build stability in recovery.
Inclusive Community Care
HAART integrates naloxone/Narcan access and overdose-prevention education as a standard part of care, reflecting its commitment to saving lives.
The program welcomes diverse populations including veterans, military families, LGBTQ clients, pregnant and postpartum women, older adults and clients navigating trauma, chronic pain or justice involvement.
HAART Oakland provides early morning medical hours seven days a week and walk in intake is available weekdays.
