Retreat Behavioral and Mental Health Center in Greenacres, Florida, was a drug rehab facility that treated adults struggling with substance abuse. Support extended to veterans and active military personnel, LGBTQ+ folks, pregnant and postpartum women, as well as those struggling with trauma, sexual and domestic abuse, or concurrent mental health issues. Clients could choose from a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and standard outpatient programming. The focus across all of these programs was primarily on relapse prevention and facilitating a long-term sustainable recovery.
Creative arts and experiential therapies were also incorporated into care to support the facility’s holistic approach.
