About Nirvana Drug and Alcohol Institute Women of Hope
Nirvana Drug and Alcohol Institute Women of Hope provides substance use treatment for adult women 18 and older in Modesto, California.
The program offers structured residential treatment with numerous recovery methods that include aftercare services.
The program is built around the unique barriers women face in recovery, providing a safe and supportive space to heal.
Women-Only Residential Recovery
Women of Hope is a 16-bed, women-only residential program offering 24-hour care with stays typically ranging from 30 to 90 days.
As part of a Central Valley nonprofit, the program is specifically designed around the safety, structure and clinical needs of adult women navigating substance use recovery.
Residents follow a highly structured schedule with approximately 30 hours of group sessions each week, alongside individualized treatment planning, trauma-informed counseling and skill-building for relapse prevention.
Daily living essentials like meals, laundry facilities and hygiene items are provided, and family connection is supported through scheduled weekend visits and evening phone access.
Whole-Person Support and Community Reentry
In addition to the clinical care, Women of Hope emphasizes practical recovery supports including case management, housing services, employment and vocational counseling, peer mentoring, transportation assistance and overdose education.
Spanish-language services and support for clients with trauma, domestic violence or justice-system histories are also available.
