About Catholic Charities Of Santa Clara County
Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County is a faith based CARF accredited human services nonprofit offering outpatient addiction treatment from its San Jose headquarters.
The program supports adults and young adults facing substance use and co-occurring disorders through counseling, case management, and medication management.
As part of a larger social services organization, Catholic Charities pairs clinical care with wraparound community support to help clients address both recovery and the practical challenges of daily life.
Crisis Intervention and Medication Management
Catholic Charities provides outpatient care for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions, serving adolescents ages 14 to 18 and adults over 18. Services include in-home assessments and crisis intervention, counseling, case management, and medication management.
Treatment draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence based approaches to help clients understand the patterns behind substance use and build healthier coping skills.
Sessions focus on both immediate stabilization and long term recovery with ongoing support tailored to each client's needs.
Wraparound Community Support
Beyond treatment Catholic Charities connects clients to a broad network of services including housing and food, family, employment, and emergency relief programs.
This integrated model means clients can address recovery alongside real world needs that often impact stability. Peer support, supported employment, and vocational rehabilitation further strengthen the path to lasting change.
