Seattle VA Medical Center is a Veterans focused addiction treatment center in Seattle, Washington offering comprehensive substance use care within VA Puget Sound Health Care.

Dual Diagnosis Care for PTSD

Care often begins with an initial evaluation, available through walk in visits on select mornings, with referrals required.

Eligible Veterans can access inpatient and outpatient detox, opioid treatment and both standard and intensive outpatient programs, all located in Building 101, the campus mental health building.

Most therapy is provided in a group format and includes counseling, psychiatric care and evidence based approaches.

The program offers FDA approved medications for opioid, alcohol and tobacco use disorders, including methadone and buprenorphine, along with care for co-occurring concerns such as PTSD and trauma, depression and anxiety.
