UPAC New Leaf Recovery Center

UPAC New Leaf Recovery Center provides substance use disorder treatment in San Diego operated by the Union of Pan Asian Communities (UPAC).

The center offers outpatient and intensive outpatient care, medication and co-occurring disorder support for adults and young adults.

Recovery for Transition-Age Youth

This location is home to UPAC's Expanding Horizons-TAY SUD program an outpatient treatment service specializing in transition-age youth with eligibility extending to ages 26 to 29.

This specialized focus pairs clinical addiction care with the unique developmental needs of young adults.

Treatment may include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, the Matrix Model, relapse prevention and trauma-related counseling.

Sessions are designed to address both substance use and underlying mental health concerns helping clients build lasting recovery skills.

Medication and Wraparound Support

UPAC integrates medication-assisted treatment using FDA-approved medications such as buprenorphine, methadone, naltrexone and Brixadi for opioid withdrawal and long-term recovery.

Beyond clinical care, the program connects clients to case management, housing assistance, employment counseling, family counseling and overdose education for whole-person support.
