About Step Denver

Step Denver is a men's residential recovery program in downtown Denver, Colorado for clients struggling with addiction who have limited resources.

Built around a Peer Recovery Support Model the program treats addiction through four core pillars which include sobriety, work, accountability and community.

Step Denver's mission is to help men overcome addiction and become healthy, self-sufficient contributing members of their families and communities.

Residential Path to Self-Sufficiency

Step Denver's core program is a phased residential recovery model that moves men through four stages of Stability, Development, Transition and Community sober living.

Residents range in age from 21 to 68 and the program combines recovery education groups, 12 Step fellowship meetings, life skills classes, career counseling and aftercare support.

Rather than positioning itself as a clinical or hospital-style center Step Denver emphasizes peer support guided by alumni and certified peer recovery coaches with lived experience.

Employment is a central expectation with many guests obtaining full-time work within their first 45 days.

Sober Living and Peer Accountability

The final program phase transitions men into one of Step Denver's sober living homes where continued structure and peer support help them rebuild independently.

On-site amenities include a fitness center with weekly personal training, a nutritionist, a spirituality center and a career center, supporting whole-person recovery.
