About San Francisco VA Health Care System
San Francisco VA Health Care System is a Veterans focused addiction treatment center in San Francisco, California, with its main medical center on Clement Street.
The system offers a full continuum of substance use care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, inpatient and residential rehabilitation and an opioid treatment program, all integrated with primary care and mental health services.
Veteran Addiction Programs for SUDs
The system provides Addiction Recovery Treatment Services, including an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), a Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) and a Transitions Program for early engagement.
Care includes counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, medication based treatment, Motivational Interviewing, harm reduction and a medically managed Opioid Treatment Program.
