About Nexus Recovery Center
Nexus Recovery Center is a substance abuse treatment center for women and families in Dallas, Texas. Here women who are pregnant, parenting, or neither can attend residential and outpatient addiction treatment. Women can also obtain medical detox and psychiatric services at Nexus. The Nexus Generations program offers ongoing parenting education and support services to women and families.
Fully Licensed Childcare So Mothers Can Focus on Recovery
A fully licensed child development center is located onsite for mothers to focus on their recovery journey. Children who are present while family members are in the residential program can receive speech therapy and occupational therapy.
After you graduate from treatment, the Nexus Generations program has a group called Mom Squad that meets for trips to the zoo and to exchange baby supplies.
Preparation for a Sober Life
During residential treatment, you’ll experience a full schedule of individual and group counseling, educational courses, and other recovery activities.
Following residential treatment, you’ll have the option to step down to an intensive outpatient program. This phase will help you continue with counseling and developing coping skills. Peer specialists who are Nexus alums help provide practical guidance and employment and housing assistance as you move forward.
