About Luke AFB Clinic ADAPT Program
The Luke AFB Clinic ADAPT Program is the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment service within Luke Medical Group at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Arizona.
ADAPT's mission centers on promoting readiness, health, and wellness by addressing substance use early while minimizing impact on the client's loved ones.
The program offers evidence based outpatient substance use treatment, preventative brief counseling, and educational outreach for active duty service members and National Guard or Reserve members on Title V orders.
Military Focused Outpatient Substance Use Treatment
ADAPT specializes in outpatient care tailored to the realities of military life with a focus on early intervention and sustained readiness. As part of a Department of Defense medical group the program delivers evidence based treatment within an integrated on-base mental health service line.
Sessions emphasize evidence based counseling, education, and skill building to address patterns of alcohol and drug use and the underlying factors driving them. When a higher level of care is needed, the team coordinates referrals for inpatient detoxification or residential treatment.
Structured Referral and Prevention Pathways
A defining feature of ADAPT is its multiple entry points including self referral, medical referral, and command referral routed through the Mental Health Clinic.
Preventative brief counseling and educational outreach extend the program's reach beyond clinical treatment supporting airmen before concerns escalate.
