La Selva’s outpatient campus in Palo Alto is on El Camino Way, a few miles from a residential site with a home-like setting. The outpatient rehab campus runs partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care. Both are insurance-based. You go home after those programs rather than staying overnight.

La Selva houses dual recovery residents in apartments a block off the outpatient campus, and the home nearby has shared rooms and private rooms. Someone in those apartments doesn’t need a long ride to reach outpatient groups.
