About Homeward Bound Dallas Outpatient
Homeward Bound provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse services for Texas residents. They have three locations for substance abuse outpatient programs including one in Dallas. This clinic is located in East Dallas conveniently off Interstate 30 HOV.
In these groups, clients get counseling, education and peer support as they continue to work on their recovery. They introduce participants to a 12 Step program.
Getting Started in Dallas
This program is suitable for clients coming from detox or inpatient treatment.
The Dallas location of Homeward Bound accepts most Blue Cross Blue Shield providers and Medicaid. Folks who meet criteria are enrolled in North Texas Behavioral Health Authority on a sliding fee scale. They do take credit cards for self–pay options.
Outpatient Rehab Group in Dallas
Homeward Bound’s outpatient program includes 14 group sessions and six one-on-one counseling appointments. Generally, this program lasts from 3 to 4 months. They offer both morning and evening group sessions to accommodate your schedule.
I like that it transitions from an intensive phase to a supportive phase within the same program. Some clients complete the program sooner because their progress is at a faster rate.
To get started, you’ll complete the intake paperwork and then have a virtual intake appointment. Appointments for intakes occur only on Mondays and Tuesdays.
