WellStone Behavioral Health Huntsville is a North Alabama outpatient provider offering substance use, mental health and psychiatric services at its Memorial Parkway campus.

Outpatient Detox and More

WellStone's Huntsville campus offers a full range of outpatient addiction services including regular outpatient counseling and intensive outpatient programming, outpatient withdrawal management and co-occurring disorder treatment.

The campus also provides comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments to guide each client's care plan.

Treatment draws on cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and relapse prevention, 12 step facilitation and trauma informed counseling.

Medication assisted treatment options include buprenorphine, naltrexone and medications for alcohol use disorder alongside peer support, case management and overdose education.

A Behavioral Health Continuum

The Huntsville campus also serves as an intake hub connecting clients to WellStone's broader system including withdrawal management in Madison and residential recovery in Hazel Green.

Specialized support is available for pregnant clients and women with dependent children, people with IV drug use histories and those needing bilingual English and Spanish intake assistance.

WellStone Huntsville offers in person and telehealth services Monday through Friday at 4040 Memorial Parkway SW, serving Huntsville and Madison, Cullman and surrounding North Alabama communities.

The program accepts Medicaid, Medicare and TRICARE, select Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama plans and private insurance, self pay, and offers sliding scale and financial assistance options.
