Nova Center

Nova Center Family Services in Huntsville, Alabama is a youth and family focused behavioral health and substance use treatment program, part of the WellStone network serving North Alabama.

Located at 1900 Golf Road Southwest, the center offers outpatient counseling, intensive outpatient services and prevention programming, psychiatric care and school based support for youth and families.

The Nova Center takes a coordinated, family centered approach that blends mental health care, substance use treatment and prevention under one roof.

Youth and Family Programs

Care typically begins with an assessment to determine the right level of support, ranging from outpatient counseling to an evening intensive outpatient program that gradually decreases in frequency.

Day treatment style mental health services and medication management are also available on site.

Clients can expect therapy using evidence based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and relapse prevention.

Psychiatric evaluations, telehealth and school based counseling round out the continuum.
