About Therapeutic Health Services Youth and Family Services Seattle
Therapeutic Health Services (THS) Youth & Family Services – Seattle assists children, youth, young adults and families across King and Snohomish Counties.
The team provides mental health counseling, integrated co-occurring care, psychiatric evaluation and wraparound support for youth ages 7 to 20.
With a focus on at-risk and low-income populations, THS delivers culturally responsive, identity-affirming care that meets young people where they are and involves the people who support them most.
Youth Counseling and Wraparound Support
THS specializes in mental health care for youth and families, offering counseling alongside case management, crisis intervention and medication management.
Backed by decades of regional service, the program intentionally involves parents, caregivers, teachers and other supports in a young person's care.
Treatment includes approaches like CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing and Multisystemic Therapy, all delivered through a trauma-informed, person-centered lens.
Sessions address underlying issues across home, school and social settings, helping youth build healthier outlooks.
Integrated Care for Co-Occurring Needs
For youth facing both mental health and substance use challenges, THS provides integrated care from a multidisciplinary team rather than standalone substance use treatment.
Specialty programming includes African-American ethnic mental health services, support for queer youth and care for youth involved in court, probation, or drug court systems, plus housing navigation and homelessness prevention.
