The Life Change Center – Sparks

The Life Change Center provides substance abuse treatment for adults. You’ll find ‘em based out in Sparks, Nevada. Their goal is to create hope and be a community resource for guests impacted by opioid addiction.

Opioid-Specific Support

One unique feature of their program is the Opioid Treatment Induction Support service. They partner with Washoe County to help residents struggling with fentanyl addiction.

This service involves medication and treatment. The program also includes urine drug screens to ensure clients follow the protocols.

Medications for Withdrawal

They offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) to help reduce drug cravings and ease harsh withdrawal symptoms. They use FDA-approved methadone and Suboxone to make guests more comfortable so they can focus on recovery and feel empowered to get healthy.

Since many people use substances to dull emotional pain, they include psychiatry and behavioral health therapy to address mental health concerns. Sessions may cover depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Family and couples counseling are included in the program to help loved ones understand more about the disease of addiction. The staff can provide referrals to outside agencies for ongoing recovery care or clients needing higher-intensity treatment.
