STEPS Inc is a nonprofit substance use treatment program in Bakersfield, California offering outpatient drug and alcohol counseling alongside licensed DUI programming for adults and minors.

Outpatient Drug Free Program and DUI Services
Clients can enter Outpatient Drug Free services that include assessment and orientation, counseling and family therapy, crisis intervention and care coordination, and discharge planning.
Programs use evidence-based curricula such as the Matrix Model, Living in Balance, and Seeking Safety to support relapse prevention and early recovery skills.
STEPS also offers DUI education and drug testing with telehealth options and referrals for medication-assisted treatment when appropriate.
