As Colorado's oldest licensed treatment center Sobriety House offers a full continuum of care that includes residential treatment, outpatient programs, and sober living support for adults recovering from drug and alcohol use.
What kinds of addiction treatment are offered?
Sobriety House provides residential treatment in two phases, Intensive Residential and Transitional Residential, along with Traditional Outpatient and a 12 week Intensive Outpatient Program.
Programs are rooted in the 12 step model and evidence based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and trauma related counseling plus aftercare and co-occurring disorders support.
Who can get help here?
The program serves adults through gender specific men's and women's programming. Priority populations include pregnant women and women with dependent children, clients who use drugs by injection, veterans, and those involuntarily committed.
Court mandated clients are welcomed in the Intensive Outpatient Program.
Where is the campus located?
Baber House sits in Denver's quiet Baker neighborhood an easy walk to South Broadway and near Dailey Park. The Main Campus combines the original house with adjacent homes creating a safe home like setting for up to 41 clients.
Do you take insurance or self-pay?
Sobriety House accepts Colorado Medicaid, private pay, sliding scale assistance, and grant funding when available. As a nonprofit it emphasizes care regardless of ability to pay.
