About Options Recovery Services Oakland
COPE Community Services runs their Villa Verde Integrated Care Clinic from northern Green Valley, Arizona. They offer mental health counseling and substance use treatment, which includes medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder.
Counseling Centered on Relapse Prevention
One thing I like about COPE’s MAT program is that they combine medication with counseling services that are specifically geared toward long-term stability. You’ll work with a trained addiction therapist to build an action plan for triggering situations you might find yourself in, which covers everything from emotional regulation techniques and who you’ll reach out to for further support.
These sessions also dive into underlying mental health concerns or trauma that could negatively impact your sobriety.
Wellness on Wheels Initiative
COPE also runs a Wellness on Wheels (WoW) program, which involves a mobile integrated health services clinic traveling through Tuscan and Green Valley to meet the needs of the community.
One service is screening for behavioral health concerns, after which they’ll refer you to a suitable treatment provider should you require treatment. They also administer MAT doses for those unable to travel to their on-site clinics.
