About Matt Talbot Day Center
The Matt Talbot Center helps people struggling with addiction, homelessness and mental illness in Seattle, Washington. They provide a 100% no cost substance abuse program for adult members. This program is made up of four chunks that clients progress through as they stabilize. It may take a year or more to graduate. At the beginning, you’ll be in day programming for up to 6 hours each day. I like that you can also get hot meals, art and yoga classes and fun excursions here. Again, all of their programs are completely free for members, so you don’t need any insurance coverage.

- Outpatient
- People with mild, stable needs and steady support at home often find outpatient treatment fits their life. It works well for many in Washington.
- Aftercare support
- People ready for the next chapter can use outpatient sessions, peer groups, alumni contact where offered, and referrals as part of aftercare. The mix is up to what fits each person’s week.
- Co-occurring disorders
- Once both conditions are handled in one plan, they are treated side by side instead of one after the other in Washington.
