About KIDS TLC Outpatient Outpatient Services
KidsTLC Outpatient Services, part of the Lotus Clinics, is a behavioral health program providing outpatient mental health and addiction recovery support for children, adolescents and families in the Kansas City metro area.
The clinics offer intensive outpatient programming and psychiatric medication management for concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to complex trauma and addiction.
With a trauma-informed philosophy and a focus on keeping families together, KidsTLC meets young people where they are and builds care around their whole support system.
Youth-Focused Recovery
The Lotus Clinics specialize in outpatient therapy for kids, teens, and their families, addressing PTSD, mood disorders, ADHD, grief, anger, suicidality and substance use concerns.
Care is delivered by licensed clinicians within an integrated continuum that also includes residential, autism and family support services.
Sessions include proven methods including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Applied Behavior Analysis and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy.
This blended approach helps young clients build coping skills, process trauma and strengthen family connections in a comfortable, supportive environment.
Programming for Children and Teens
The evening intensive outpatient program serves children ages 6 through 17 as a bridge between inpatient or residential care and traditional outpatient therapy.
Programming combines group work, individual support, family therapy, parent education and experiential and recreational activities, with required parent involvement to reinforce progress at home.
