Counseling is available in individual, group, family and couples formats, with Spanish language support and services for LGBTQ clients, veterans, military families, pregnant and postpartum women, trauma survivors and court referred clients.
Clinicians draw on evidence based approaches including CBT, rational emotive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, brief intervention, trauma related counseling, anger management, relapse prevention planning and a 12 Step based framework to address both substance use and underlying concerns.
Integrated Opioid Response And Behavioral Health
Through the Better Together opioid initiative launched with the University of Miami, JTCHS offers medication for opioid use disorder within outpatient primary care, alongside trained provider support and linkage to additional services.

Access, Location and Getting Started
This in person location, known as the Dr. Fatima Zafar Health & Wellness Center, is open Monday through Friday and serves clients across Miami Dade County.
JTCHS accepts Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, self pay and the CareNet Discount Medical Card, with sliding fee scale discounts and payment assistance available.
