About El Futuro
El Futuro is a bilingual, culturally responsive behavioral health organization in Durham, North Carolina providing outpatient mental health and substance use services for Spanish speaking individuals and families.
The clinic offers therapy, psychiatry and case management, support groups and a dedicated substance use program for Latino youth and adults.

Bilingual DWI Treatment
El Futuro's substance use specialty, branded as Sin Ataduras delivers prevention, education and treatment designed specifically for high risk Latino youth and adults.
The program includes a DWI Settlement Program, parent prevention workshops, teen simulation events and a comprehensive substance use treatment program led by licensed clinicians.
Treatment combines culturally grounded clinical best practices with group education and individualized support, helping participants understand the impact of substance use and build healthier coping skills.
Past participants have shared that the classes helped them recognize the harms of alcohol use and described their overall experience as very positive.
Culturally Responsive Care
Beyond addiction services, El Futuro provides therapy alongside psychiatry, peer support and school based services for children, teens, and adults.
Care is delivered in Spanish by board accredited therapists and psychiatrists who specialize in working with immigrant and Latine communities.

El Futuro's Durham office on Chapel Hill Road serves families from more than 20 counties across North Carolina through in person, school based and telehealth services with walk in hours available Tuesday through Thursday mornings.
The clinic accepts private insurance and self pay options.
