About Center Point Women and Childrens Residential
Center Point Women and Children's Residential is a treatment program in San Rafael, California that supports pregnant women and mothers of young children facing substance use disorders.
The team also provides care alongside trauma, domestic violence, homelessness and co-occurring mental health concerns.
Center Point believes families heal best together, keeping mothers and children side by side throughout the recovery journey.
Family-Centered Residential Recovery
At the heart of Center Point is a residential model that allows mothers to remain with their children in family-style living units for three to six months.
The program serves over 120 mothers, infants and children each year, offering child care and child-focused accommodations that remove a major barrier to treatment for parents.
Care is gender-responsive and trauma-informed addressing the deeper roots of addiction, including abuse, unemployment and instability.
Trauma Recovery and Long-Term Stability
Center Point recognizes that recovery goes beyond substance use, integrating support for trauma, intimate partner violence and social instability.
After the residential stay families may transition into specialized housing for up to 24 months, and clients using medication-assisted treatment are welcomed and supported.
Center Point provides in-person residential care and telehealth services available across Marin County.
