Al'Ta Counseling and Testing is an outpatient drug and alcohol rehab in Tacoma, Washington offering individualized substance use assessments, counseling and testing services for adults across the South Sound area.

Outpatient Counseling and Testing

Most clients begin with a drug and alcohol assessment, which helps determine the appropriate level of care and supports DUI evaluations, deferred prosecution requirements and return to duty or follow up evaluations for public transportation workers.

From there, clients may step into intensive or standard outpatient services tailored to their goals.

Treatment includes individual substance counseling, group sessions and educational courses such as ADIS and VIP classes.

Approaches associated with the program include cognitive behavioral therapy and 12 step methods, with relapse prevention and ongoing monitoring built into the continuum.
