About Welcome House
Welcome House is a nonprofit sober living and recovery residence in Kansas City, Missouri providing structured substance use recovery support for men age 21 and older.
Partial Flex and CORE Recovery Programs
Residents often begin with Recovery Respite & Critical Intervention which is a short-term stabilization phase focused on safety, structure, and next-step planning.
From there, men may enter the Partial Flex Program (PFP) for a flexible pathway of up to four months or the CORE Recovery Program which is a six to nine month structured residency across three levels.
Throughout each stage men receive peer recovery coaching through WH Connect and mentoring, counseling, and structured programming.
Wraparound services include employment support and educational classes, family programming, and alumni support while CORE+ offers an advanced leadership track toward Certified Peer Support accreditation.
