Valley Behavioral Health CORE I Men's Program is a residential addiction treatment center in Salt Lake City, Utah, specializing in cooccurring mental health and substance use disorders for adult men.
The program offers both residential care and outpatient recovery management services at the same location, supporting clients through early recovery and community reentry.
The CORE track is designed to help men build stability and skills for long term sobriety.
What programs and services are offered?
CORE I provides residential treatment, short term and long term residential options and outpatient services through CORE Recovery Management.
Treatment includes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, trauma counseling, 12 step facilitation and medication assisted treatment with buprenorphine or naltrexone when appropriate.
Who can get help at CORE I?
The program serves adult men, including veterans, members of military families, LGBTQ clients, seniors and criminal justice or forensic clients.
CORE I also supports men with cooccurring mental health and substance use disorders, cooccurring pain and substance use concerns, HIV or AIDS and those who have experienced trauma, sexual abuse or domestic violence.
