FAQs
Which therapies are used in residential treatment and the PHP?
Residential clients can receive individual therapy and group therapy. Family therapy, medication management and experiential therapies are available too. A 12-step component is part of programming. Yoga and breathing exercises are used, and acupuncture is an option during detox and during other services. In the PHP, experiential work includes hiking, yoga and meditation. Those are among the addiction therapy options.
How long is a residential stay at The Camp Recovery Center?
The residential stay typically runs 28 to 30 days, and it usually comes after detoxification. There’s also a specialized track with therapies for people who have co-occurring mental or behavioral health concerns.
Who can be admitted, including veterans?
Clients have to be age 18 and above. The center works with the Service Resiliency Unit to serve military veterans. A substance use disorder is part of what those veterans seek treatment for. Co-occurring mental health concerns are included too.
