Straight and Narrow Detox Medical Hospital is a nonprofit hospital based detox program in Paterson, New Jersey operating as part of the Straight and Narrow network under Catholic Charities, Diocese of Paterson.

The Detox Hospital offers medically monitored inpatient withdrawal management with 24-hour supervision for clients whose symptoms require continuous care. This hospital based setting is designed for the safe, supported early stage of recovery.
Care may include buprenorphine, naltrexone, medication for alcohol use disorder, and clonidine or lofexidine detoxification along with comprehensive assessments and physical exams with toxicology screening.
Clients also receive naloxone and overdose education, discharge planning, and aftercare coordination to encourage continuity beyond detox.
Specialty Programs and Continuity of Care
Beyond detox the Straight and Narrow system offers men's and women's residential treatment, outpatient care, and halfway house support.
Specialized programs serve transitional age young adults, pregnant and postpartum women, criminal justice clients, and those with co-occurring mental health and pain or trauma histories.
