People who can live at home and who have co-occurring disorders (a substance use disorder and a mental health condition) receive treatment at River Community Covina, an addiction treatment center in Covina.

The program is located in California. Medical detox isn't offered here.

Levels of Care in Covina

River Community runs day treatment and outpatient care for adults at this location. You'll go home each day instead of staying through the night.

Partial day treatment is included for people starting to manage life in the community, and it leaves time for family, work, school or other things outside the program.

Evening Groups Each Week

Evening groups meet throughout the week at River Community. Groups and individual counseling are on the schedule, along with social and recreational activities, during the day and into the evening.

If you're worried about paying, many health plans, private or cash payment, or county, state and federal assistance can cover the cost of most services.

River Community alumni meet every week and hold events throughout the year.
