Seven Hills Behavioral Health Hospital in Henderson, Nevada, serves seniors, adults and children who are struggling with depression, addiction and mental health disorders. They are certified by The Joint Commission and accept Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE and other major insurances.
Treatments for substance use include alcohol, benzos, cocaine, heroin, opioids and prescription drugs. Seven Hills is the only licensed provider in the state of Nevada to administer opiate treatment. They can prescribe opiate blocking medications to reduce withdrawals and cravings.
Inpatient detox services are available and last three to seven days. You may be given medications to prevent seizure, stroke or other lethal symptoms caused by withdrawals.
Outpatient Treatment Options for Adults
Therapy methods include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, SMART Recovery and motivational interviewing. Services include group therapy, family education, medication, exercise and nutritional care.
Adult patients being treated for substance use will be placed in one of two programs. The partial hospitalization program (PHP) meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. You will be provided lunch, beverages and snacks. Your personalized treatment plan may include groups such as coping strategies, emotional regulation or relaxation training. A psychiatrist will manage your medications.
The chemical dependency intensive outpatient program is chosen for clients with substance addiction and clients who have a co-occurring mental health issue. These dual diagnoses may include anxiety, bipolar disorders, borderline personality disorder, depression and post traumatic stress disorder.
The program meets 6:00 to 9:00 pm, three times per week for three to eight weeks. Your personalized treatment plan may include groups such as depression management, management of anxiety and panic or enhancing self esteem.
Programs for Youth and Seniors
Adolescent detox is available for ages five to 17. Adolescents are given pain relieving medications with parent permission. The Ascension Program is partial hospitalization treatment for ages 12 through 17. The program is several hours per day, five days per week and lasts two to eight weeks.
Geriatric substance abuse treatment offers medically monitored detox and medication management services. Therapies and treatments include family therapy, education, group therapy, individual therapy, nutritional care, recreation and the 12 Step philosophy.
