The SalusCare Cape Coral Campus in Florida provides outpatient addiction treatment. The campus is accredited by CARF and they accept Medicaid, Medicare, TriCare, and many other insurance coverages. They have a sliding fee scale here too so those who are uninsured or underinsured can get affordable treatment.
Admission priority given to pregnant women, mothers with children, and people who use intravenous drugs. Psychiatric evaluations will determine the best treatment plan for you
Psychiatric and therapy services can be in person or virtual via telemedicine.
Judicial Advocacy for Co Occurring Disorders
Advocacy and support are available for those involved in legal matters who have a serious mental illness or co occurring disorder through the Forensic Diversion program. The campus is certified to provide state approved competency restoration training and collaborates with mental health court, traditional court, and probation.
Outpatient Substance Use Treatment with Flexible Options
An alternative to residential treatment is day and extended day treatment. Based on the level of treatment you need, you will meet with your group during the day either in the mornings or afternoons. Evening groups meet 7:30 am to 9:00 pm.
Assistance for Pregnant Clients with Addiction
The maternal assistance program provides treatment for pregnant women through 12 months post-partum. Eligible women receive free therapy, psychiatric services, residential treatment, and baby items.
Medication for Alcohol Addiction or Opioid Addiction
If you need medication assisted treatment for alcohol addiction or opioid use disorder you will be referred to the Evans campus in Fort Myers. You will meet with an addiction psychiatrist and receive counseling in addition to the medication.
