About Saint Judes Recovery Center Family Care Center
Saint Judes Recovery Center Family Care Center is an Atlanta based residential substance use treatment program serving women, including those with dependent children.
The center supports adult women and young adults facing addiction and co-occurring mental health needs, with specialized care for pregnant and postpartum women, trauma survivors and clients referred through the court system.
As part of a long standing Atlanta nonprofit recovery organization, the program is built around keeping mothers and children together throughout the healing process.
Mother-Child Residential Recovery
The Family Care Center offers long term residential treatment designed so women do not have to separate from their dependent children during recovery.
With residential beds available for clients' children, the program pairs addiction care with therapeutic childcare and parenting education. This model helps mothers focus on healing while strengthening family bonds.
Treatment draws on evidence based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and motivational interviewing, the Matrix Model and relapse prevention.
Sessions often incorporate trauma related counseling to address underlying experiences, alongside 12 step facilitation and life skills support to build a foundation for lasting recovery.
Trauma Informed Care
This women's program is equipped to serve clients with high acuity, complex needs including those with trauma histories, domestic violence experiences or HIV/AIDS.
Services extend beyond addiction treatment to include HIV/AIDS counseling and health education, anger management and job readiness support, reflecting a whole person and trauma informed approach.
