Care includes residential homes, medically managed sub-acute detox, an IOP and a PHP. The IOP meets five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 12:30pm. PHP involves several therapy sessions six days a week, given as Monday to Friday, plus one-on-one sessions with therapists, which is this program’s partial hospitalization.

Family members, friends, peers and mentors can attend family therapy so they can reconnect with the person in care. The program also includes educational seminars, group counseling, individual therapy, yoga and interactive music. Addiction disorders are treated at the Thousand Oaks and Agoura Hills centers. addiction therapy options of this sort include the seminars and the family sessions.

The residential side is a set of homes, not one building: four mental health residences, a stand-alone detox residence and one home dedicated to substance recovery. IOP hours are weekday mornings, five days, 9am to 12:30pm. PHP spreads several therapy sessions across six days, Monday to Friday, and adds one-on-one therapist time. Three of the four mental health residences are for women only. The fourth is co-ed or gender fluid. All homes and programs are LGBTQIA2+ affirming, and allies are part of that stance.

Masters level therapists provide the clinical care, and the rest of the faculty works alongside them. Their combined experience with mental illness and with addiction comes to more than 200 years. That figure belongs to the faculty as a group.
