About Resonance Center for Women
Resonance Center for Women on South Elwood Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma has many programs and services for women and their families. One of those services is addiction and substance abuse treatment that they provide on an outpatient basis.
They provide gender-focused therapy that is trauma-informed and created to help those who are court-ordered and there voluntarily to stay sober, set healthy goals for themselves and their families, and to help them learn where help is available and how to access it.
Justice System Rehabilitation and Reentry
Sometimes, individuals who require addiction treatment or are experiencing housing instability have some connection with or interaction with the justice system. Many have been incarcerated and need support to make the transition from life behind bars to a successful and healthy life in society.
A place to live, good employment, and access to needed resources can all be hurdles that newly released women face. Resonance is here to help support them through each aspect of life and help them secure the necessities they will require to lead their family to a bright future.
Healing a Life
They have transitional and therapeutic housing here as well as the Take 2 Café which gives women the opportunity to build employment experience and skills needed to be successful in the workforce and life.
On top of life skills training, drug and alcohol treatment, and employment assistance, the Resonance Center helps women and their families access the resources they need for their mental health, physical health and financial health.
