About Renew Your Mind
Renew Your Mind is a private, non profit provider of outpatient addiction treatment in Anchorage, Alaska offering counseling based care for adults and young adults struggling with alcohol or drug use.
Located in the North Star area near downtown, the facility provides a continuum that includes regular outpatient, intensive outpatient and aftercare services with standard outpatient counseling serving as its central focus.
The program aims to help clients build practical skills and lasting strategies for long term recovery.
Outpatient Addiction Counseling
The outpatient program at Renew Your Mind serves men and women, young adults, veterans and military families, Spanish speaking clients and individuals involved in the criminal justice system, including those with DUI related needs.
Care is delivered in a private setting and can accommodate co-occurring disorders as well as clients receiving medication assisted treatment prescribed elsewhere.
Clients engage in counseling guided by evidence based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, the Matrix Model, anger management and relapse prevention.
The counseling centered model emphasizes skill building and accountability while allowing clients to remain connected to work, school and family.

Additional Services
Beyond standard outpatient care, Renew Your Mind offers intensive outpatient treatment, aftercare and brief intervention, discharge planning and community outreach.
Services are designed to coordinate with externally prescribed MAT and to support multilingual and justice involved populations.
Payment options include cash or self payment, sliding fee scale based on income, payment assistance and financing. Tribal and Access to Recovery vouchers may also be accepted, helping reduce barriers to care.
