Prevention and Training Services, Inc. is a Lansing, Michigan behavioral health provider specializing in outpatient substance use treatment, mental health therapy, assessments and court related intervention programs for adults and adolescents.

Outpatient Substance Use Treatment

Services include intake, individual assessment and treatment planning, weekly sessions and support group involvement, aftercare planning and random drug testing.

The intensive outpatient track is built around a three phase model for individuals with repeat arrests, relapse history or more complex needs, combining education, group work and individual sessions, sponsor requirements and ongoing testing.

Treatment addresses underlying drivers of substance use while reinforcing accountability and long term sobriety skills.

Women's Trauma Informed Care

P.A.T.S. offers a women's specific outpatient track led by a female counselor trained in women's issues and addictions.

This program addresses domestic violence, child rearing and sexual or emotional abuse experiences that often intersect with substance use, alongside trauma informed mental health support for PTSD, anxiety and depression.

Getting Started

P.A.T.S. serves clients in Lansing and surrounding areas through in person sessions at its South Waverly Road office and via telehealth across Michigan.

The program accepts self pay, sliding scale arrangements and government funding with the admissions team available to discuss payment options.
