RISE Recovery Community, part of WAI-IAM, Inc. and CARF accredited, provides structured recovery housing and sober living for adults affected by substance use disorders in Lansing, Michigan.
The organization pairs peer based support with case management, assessment and referral, family resources and prevention services rooted in four recovery dimensions: health and home, purpose and community.
Founded by a mother-son duo with lived experience of addiction, RISE offers a warm and nurturing environment designed to empower people to build meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Supportive Recovery Housing
Sober living is RISE's core offering, providing structured recovery housing supported by a strong peer recovery model.
Many team members serve as CPRCs or peer recovery coaches, drawing on lived experience to guide residents through everyday recovery.
Residents connect through one on one counseling and life skills building, relapse prevention and mentoring.
The approach addresses the whole person, blending accountability with holistic care and even canine therapy to help residents create lasting stability.
Finding Community with Club RISE
Beyond housing, RISE extends into a broader recovery ecosystem anchored by Club RISE, a community engagement center at the Sycamore Street location.
With spaces for recreation, entertainment and gathering, plus dedicated family support and youth prevention programming, RISE helps residents build sober social connection outside traditional treatment settings.
