About Port of Hope
At Port of Hope, residents of Nampa, Idaho, can find comprehensive treatment for addiction. This is a nonprofit organization that helps people through various stages of recovery from substance use disorders. They offer several levels of care including social detoxification, intensive residential treatment and intensive outpatient treatment.
Non-Medical Detox
I should note that their detox services are non-medical, so you won't be on any medications while detoxing. However, there is medical assistance available nearby if it's needed.
Aside from this, they have their residential program that offers stays of 30, 60, or 90 days, depending on your assessment. While you're living here, you'll be participating in classes and therapy sessions as part of your recovery process.
A step below this is their intensive outpatient program (IOP). They also offer individual therapy and group counseling to help support you with strategies for recovery.
DUI Classes
Some of their more unique treatment options include getting DUI evaluations and education classes. They offer these court-approved services to help you understand substance abuse and its consequences. They can also help you meet the legal requirements related to DUI offenses.
Home-Like Environment
I like that all of this is conducted in a home-like environment so that you feel like you're in a warm and safe atmosphere while you're being treated. Based on client feedback, it seems like the staff is very supportive and welcoming, and they have somewhat of a familial vibe.
