VOA – Outpatient Services

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies is a nonprofit organization that provides services for mental health and substance abuse disorders throughout the Northern Rockies area. The Cheyenne, Wyoming, location includes services for homelessness as well and focuses on long-term stability since its founding in 1896. Payments accepted here vary based on the service provided but most programs are covered with insurance plans, sliding scale and grant or funding.

The facility also offers special programs for specific groups like veterans which help them transition into civilian life by offering housing and career support. They give patients referrals for their partner locations that provide low-income senior housing program as well as youth services to troubled teens.

With support from the staff, community and your peers, patients not only gain sobriety, but receive tools and resources to maintain sobriety long-term. The location is nearby Lions Park and Cheyenne Botanical Garden which offers beautiful scenic trails and is perfect for a peaceful recovery.
