I also think it’s wonderful that they have patient advocates. You can get the answers to all your questions with your personalized care team. They stand up for you and your family’s rights, ensuring you receive care to meet your unique needs. Women Veterans, former prisoners of war, Veterans with disabilities, and Veteran members of the BIPOC community can access specialized advocacy.

Creative Arts Therapy

Another great feature that stood out to me was that they provide recreational and creative arts therapy. With a referral from your primary care physician, you can connect with a recreation therapist and receive a customized care plan. Community outings, exercise, gardening, animal therapy, and more are available. These services can help you explore healthy habits to promote holistic healing and enhance your journey.

I also like that they incorporate social work. You can access assistance to improve other essential recovery aspects. Legal services, transportation, home health services, and community living are available.
